Whether you have just found out you are pregnant or are in your last stretch here is the place for you all to chat and gripe about the joys of pregnancy and coo over the arrivals of our new little bundles.
A place where Mums can list
- Things they dont need anymore
- Things they're looking for
- and Trade with other Mums
All of this must be done for free in a 'what goes around comes around' kind of way.
Heyya =) You should come visit someday and we can do clothing swaps! I have sorted through all Lucretia's old clothing and managed to get a box full of stuff i can use for a boy but there are still 3 massive boxes of very girly stuff! =P
I've got the same idea =) Get them out while i'm young and we can all party together! haha.
Ugh.. What a pain he didn't manage to get into place >.< How was the c-section? I'm still scared of having to get one! I'm glad Lucretia did everything right so it all worked out but i hear plenty of stories about people having one perfect birth then one horror story haha.
Haha. Don't worry about the girly stuff. Seriously.. I was so not into pink and crap but when i had Lucretia.. i just got given all these adorable things that i ended up loving and it all went downhill from there.. She's now pretty much in something pink, always. Another reason i snapped out of the whole 'oh no, can't have pink' thing is that if i dressed her in any other colour, people would think she was a boy and it annoyed the hell out of me >.< Also, in saying all that. I have SHIT loads of girls clothing that i won't be needing if this one is a boy =) So may be able to spare some for you if you like?
Chipmunks is usually good for seeing other toddlers/babies during the week and school hours =) Otherwise there's always too many big kids and they aren't careful enough with the little ones.. so i usually don't bother going when they'll be there.
Oh god.. i am completely with you for the hormones thing! I'm having quite a bit of trouble with my partner at the moment, mostly because of them >.< It's hard having a toddler to run around after too. She's started the phase of 'i'm going to do what i want and you can't stop me!'
Your next appointment is the 24th? I'm pretty sure mine is too haha. Just checked and yep. though i think it might be march... I thought they were monthly? o.o Will have to check up with Bunny on that one i think.
Being late sucks. Knowing the due date has come and gone.. even though it's just an estimate. It's real hard waiting longer when you're so uncomfortable! Hopefully these two come early =)
And yep. I'm done after this one ...hopefully.. I really want a boy so may reconsider if it's another girl but really hope to only have to have 2!
Hahaha yeah.. I wanted the 2 year gap and decided since i got pregnant with Lucretia on the pill, it couldn't be so hard second time round.... first try and #2 is on the way o.o Funnily enough though, this baby is due on 17th July and Lucretia was due 18th! Luckily she was late and ended up being born on the 26th so hopefully this one will be early so there's a good gap between their birthdays!
Wow! Looks like Bunny was right both times =) She hasn't said what she thinks i'm having buuut.. guess in a couple weeks i can try and see for the 20 week scan =)
I know what you mean about the driving thing >.< I feel so much better when there are others who don't drive haha. My partner and dad are my drivers too but Allan is lazy and my dad gets stressed driving in the Auckland traffic so i don't really ask him too often. I CAN drive but don't have my licence. I tried going for it when i was pregnant with Lucretia ...bad idea.. failed the test and felt so depressed about it because of hormones being all over the place. Now i'm kinda scared to try again haha
Even Lucretia at 18 months doesn't seem to understand what's going on haha. She knows what 'belly' and 'baby' mean but she can't seem to put them together =P
The only problem with getting a bus to Royal Road is that only Richies come this way >.< So it has to be one of their busses. Think it's 092 or 058 from memory... *shrugs*. I'm sure Lucretia would love to meet Jayme though =) Maybe we could make a day to meet at Chipmunks or something? It's on Lincoln Road near the Tenpin bowling and Horizon Radiology.
Heyya =) I remember you too. Actually saw you in the paper a while back when your little man was born.
I'm with Bunny for my LMC this time round. So far, she's been great! I love how 'straight forward' she is haha. 22 weeks? You're not far ahead of me =P When are you due? I'm 18 weeks, due 17th July.
I don't actually drive either >.< Makes things a bit of a pain in the ass but i guess at the same time, not having to deal with a car and the costs is nice =)
I'm in Massey. Just off Royal Road. There are a few bus stops around here which makes getting around easier (when buses actually come on time ..or come at all >.<)
How old is Jayme now? Assuming almost a year if he was born in March? =)

Hi there
Just wanted to let you know about the new group The Health Support Network - a place where we can all support each other to do something positive towards being healthier each day
Take a look
Regards
Rachael
lol yea its funny when they only kinda wanna move but are "too lazy" to do so. Talynn is crawling full bore now, which is kinda nice but also alto of work. Shes also standing and pulling herself up on things so everything has to be put away which makes life fun moving everything away all the time. hehe
