I'm one of those woman with a great maternal urge who was never able to have children after a back-street abortion at an age too young to have known better.

I compensated in my work as a great part of my professional life has been working for the benefit of kids, including volunteer work I did with 'street kids' in Sydney and Paris. Was also involved in the 'street children's program' under the UNESCO wing, while in Paris.

But I have a 35 year background in the study of Astrology, Jungian Psychology and Cognitive Development. It is this skill set that I seek to bring to Mums On Top in the form of Q/A forums/blogs, and providing personalised birth chart interpretation for the children of Mum's and Dad's seeking that input.

Am keen to participate in any forums about astrology and how it reflects as childhood expressions. I am happy to develop this blog in any way Mum's want to go and if there is an interest, can prepare your child's or new-born's chart (12-20 page document - NZ$250) to parents seeking to better understand their little ones.

I should have a website - WWW.BORNINNEWZEALAND.COM 'live' within a couple of weeks.
Voila, my motivation in being a part of this community ...

We have a question that came in from a member about her 9 y.o son. Given this is a blog as opposed to developing an in-depth report – I had attempted to focus specifically on the question only, but as I explored, I got a sense that behind the question, was a much deeper concern. DO YOU HAVE ‘BAGGAGE’?

A very real challenge in life is how we recognize and confront our ‘baggage’. Our ability to do so is formed as early as babyhood. It’s how ‘who we are’ respond to the conditioning we receive, the environment we grow up in, the responses delivered, the understandings and misunderstandings projected on to us and notably, the role we played in the parental and family dynamics of cause and effect.
