Hi there ladies,

We have many new members and I thought it timely to update 'how we do things' here at Mums on Top!

I am aware that since I launched the Mums on Top community, six mumpreneurs have launched their own 'networks', many on the back of contacts made here. Unless you have spoken with me, please be aware of the point below in bold and adhere to this asap.

As you know, I've worked with Mumpreneurs for a couple of years now and have always been a big advocate of supporting other mums in business...so here's the lowdown!

Business is hard for many at the moment as economic difficulties are tightening domestic and commercial purse strings, which is why it is so wonderful to be able to pull together!

There are just a few housekeeping matters:

- Your personal pages are yours to add logos, to add images and content as you see fit.

- Your 'handle' (which is the name you give yourself with your profile picture) is not to include your website address. Saying where you are from - such as Franny from Breastmates , Heidi -bellybeyond etc is fine.

- Do not sign your posts with your website address or business name, unless you are a featured member and paying for the right.

- You are welcome to post your website address if you are specifically replying to a question eg. where can i get cloth nappies from?

- If you have a site that has forums or networks, please remove all mention of your business/businesses from Mums on Top.
This is in blatant competition with this website :)

- AD day will run on the first of the month. This is your opportunity to let our members know about your product and services. In the forum title, please use the word AD: and then your writing. I will add another drop down menu for Mumpreneurs so that users can select not to view them in the forum section.

- No solicting new members for your site or business. As stated earlier, you are welcome to let our members know about your business if the specifically request information - such as cloth nappies and you supply them, or sleep information etc etc.

I'm hugely supportive of Mumpreneurs - it's hard work, that's for sure - and I'm certainly hoping that we can work together for our success!
