26yo first-time mum to 7 month old noah, exclusivly breastfed from birth + just starting solids - little man is not a fan of food, likes his milk way too much :) . Co-sleeping nightly in family bed, would love to meet like-minded mums in the NZ and the southland area (in particular, gore)

Hello! I am in the Wairarapa and have a 2yr old daughter. She is breastfeeding and co-sleeping. I am looking for some like-minded mums to chat with - either in person or online.

Hi Everyone! I'm new to Mums On Top and scanning through the groups - this one caught my eye - Yep I'm definitely attached to being the Mum of two wonderful boys! They are now 8 and 10. I breastfed them both till they were nearly 2 and did the Playcentre thing in those early years. From there we found Steiner education which has eased them gently into school life and I've had the privilege of assisting at their school. The great thing about being a Mum is the learning never stops! Alongside the growth of my children I have been growing a Self Development and Counselling Service for families called Conscious Parenting.

Hi - great group! I'll second The Natural Child Project, probably the most informative site I've seen on AP and helped me through the many questions face when you choose to follow AP principles. There is also a new New Zealand based website called the Natural Parent which has some great New Zealand contributors (Lauren Porter) making it a bit closer to home.

Thanks Joe's mum, that's good to hear. Think I'll stop night feeding again after we get back from our holiday. We're moving bedrooms then too, so will start settling Samuel in his own room soon too. I'll keep you posted!!
