I know there is someone on here who was a surrogate for a friend, I will track her down for you.
I'm a birthmum, so a bit different, and enrolling to be an egg donor, what you are considering doing for your friend is simply amazing, well done!!

Hi having been through years of infertility resulting in a success with IVF I can only say this would probably be the most selfless thing you could do. it is so hard seeing someone else who wants a child so much but can't. That being said it is a big physical, emotional and financial stress on you, your family and friends and will require much talk between you all. Good luck with your decision.

Hi Francine,

Sorry -should have initially mentioned that I am only an egg donor not a surrogate but the website I referred you to is for surrogates, donors and intended parents as mentioned.

You can also try aussie egg donor website - it's got kiwis and aussies on it - and this is where I meet one of the couples I will be donating too as well.
