5 Things You Didn't Know About Me

Ok...just for a bit of fun and to get to know each other a little better :)

5 things you didn't know about me:

- I can swing five poi's at once, two in each hand, one on the foot.

- I would rather my clothes were on a heap on the couch than put away incorrectly - ie. in 'type order', by colour.

- I almost died 8 years ago, and the experience has changed my life forever.

- I love to belly dance!

- (wow this is harder than I thought...) I dream of traveling the world, with only a backpack in 12 years. Possibly with friends, possibly with one or more of my children. If not, on my own is fine :)

1. I too am not yet thirty but at this particular moment I can't remember if I am 25 or 26!! How bad is that for baby brain!

2. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at age 19 and after a messy few years there is no sign of it now. It bothers me that to this day I don't know whether I was misdiagnosed or if I have simply recovered.

3. It's important to me to be a great housewife.

4. I quite happily eat sheep that I bottle fed as lambs..

5. I'm not a naturalist but really want my kids to spend as much time in the nuddy (when VERY young) in the privacy of our home because I think it's really healthy. I haven't read or seen anything that confirms this.. it's just a personal conviction; ▶ Reply to This

1) Had the Lead female role in a N.Z made production called "Kingi's story".

2)Met my hubby in an American chatroom.We were friends for 4 years then i flew to canada where we met on the Tuesday and were married the following saturday..I was 40 when we married and we are coming up to our 7th year Anniversary :)

3)I have 4 kids to 4 different fathers, my hubby is father to none of them but is their Dad.

4)I have to have the washing hung a certain way...from the inside of the line to the outter,undies,shorts,long pants..in order hahahaha, and will also rehang washing if not hung "MY" way hahahaha

5)Was dis-owned by my only daughter and havent seen or heard from her in 5 years... :( (she turned 21 in August); ▶ Reply to This

1- hate ironing yet everytime I manage to coax myself into it, I get a feeling of satisfaction
2- had my own cook/housekeeper for 12 years (It is a wondeful way to exist, so ladies don't ever underestimate what you are giving when you take on these tasks)
3- cured myself from a serious illness through diet (macrobiotics)
4- travelled much of the world by motorbike for 9 years
5- had an illegal abortion at 15 and was left to die - survived but became sterile as a result ...; ▶ Reply to This

1. I had to leave NZ thanks to my ex-partner but managed to get residency granted outside of policy all by myself through contacting the NZ government and explaining situation
2. I grew up in Germany and think of Germany as home, although my parents are both english
3. I am starting Uni next year and am very excited and at the same time shit scared i wont cope
4. I still dont know where I want to settle eventually, the world is such a big place!
5. I am bulimic and spent 3 months in a clinic when I was 16 and I was the youngest there; ▶ Reply to This

1. I have passed my medical and no longer required to attend clinics every 6 months.(extreme health issues)
2. I have sorted things out with my Baby's dad and now we are friends ( which is like a big thing for me)
3. I use to be a pole dancer ( was one for 15 years)
4. I sold my house and all my assets to my children ( my ex husband got nothing in the divorce)
5. I spent 2 years of my life in a karitane home ( back in the 70's when my parents split up)

1. I stil bite my nails
2. I have an eating disorder ( have since I was 14)
3. I have bungy jumped, paraputed, hand glided, been on the jetboats and done all of that by the time i was 25 years old
4. I have lived all over NZ

5 things you didn't know about me:

1. I went to 5 secondary schools
2. In my early twenties I used to catch the train to London and sell my art in the markets and catch the train back (8hrs round trip)
3. I gave up my job to nurse my terminally ill mum (My parents both died of Cancer when I was in my early twenties)
4. I used to be a Morris Dancer
5. I designed the front cover of the British Telecom phone book
